last night i actually READ the Google's Gatekeepers article and it is GREAT!!

i highly recommend you have a look at this for a look at issues of freedom of speech in this country and around the globe... especially for the role that internet service providers and major search engines play a role in what is made visible to the world, and what isn't.

also, this article mentions the chilling effects site, which is worth a look.

chilling effects is a project of the electronic frontier foundation. if you're interested in your digital rights, the eff website is one you'll want to check out.

each week when i get my sunday nyt, i'm surprised at how much info i find on censorship.
